Mazda is taking a run at moving up the luxury trail with the introduction of the new fresh CX – 5 for the 2019 model year with a souped up engine and a snappy crossover feel that will make you re-thing the whole lower end Mazda vibe that we’ve been accustomed to lately.
While most would suggest that the 2o018 version of the Mazda CX-5 was already pretty good, the new 2019 CX-5 however is not happy to sit on its laurels and has really stepped up its game when it comes to the 2019 version. Some of the new lux features include the turbo charged four cylinder and new chassis that’s looking to incorporate the new and improved Control features under the G- Vector brand name.
The new engine set up will drive around two hundred and fifty horses with about three hundred and ten pounds of torque to kick things up a notch. The whole G-Vector thing, while a bit campy, does actually do the job it needs to do and makes the handling of this crossover something the other manufacturers will look aspire to.
The interior of the new 2019 Mazda CX-5 doesn’t disappoint either especially when you talk yourself into the higher end trim levels that come with leather, chrome and wood and some sleek mods to the overall aesthetic of experience. The tech part of the crossover hasn’t been left out either with a brand new three hundred and sixty degree camera, some ambient lighting and the Apple an Google car tech toys wrapped into a nicely sized seven inch touchscreen.
The company has been a bit mum on the actual price point that it wants to bring the 2019 CX – 5, but there is a lot speculation that the Japanese giant wants to make this too good to not have it on your shopping list and will probably look to keep it sub $30k as a starting point to get you in it.
