The slightly redesigned 2018 Dodge Durango SRT will be having you begging to get out of the house to run those traditional boring chores. The Durango SRT is being propelled by a V8 Hemi engine that will pump out over seven hundred and fifty horse power with an eight speed automatic engine that will have you getting to the grocery store in no time flat as the Dodge SRT will get you to sixty in about four point seven seconds flat. Ya, that’ll get you some attention the next time you pull up to drop off the kiddies at practice.
You have to give props to the engineering team over at Fiat Chrysler who were able to fine tune their pride and joy Hemi into the new 2018 Dodge Durango SRT and they we also able to figure out that the SUV needed a stiffer suspension and dampers that can adapt with all this new power. The design team at Fiat Chrysler then stepped in and gave this beast the look it needed, which is intimidating, with a grill that’s wider and bolder some beef on the hood with the scoop and matching color side skirts that won’t have the kids running away in shame when they get dropped off.
The 2108 Dodge Durango SRT will bring with it some of the expected standard features like the heated leather seats, in the front and the second rows, folding back bench and the infotainment system that comes in with a screen that’s just over eight inches. With the 2018 Dodge Durango SRT coming at around $65k it lines up nicely against some of the category’s other stalwarts like the Ford Explorer, the Chevy Tahoe, the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Mercedes AMG GL. All in all not bad company to be keeping.
